Lusaka Telecom Solutions successfully launches New Telecommunication Towers in Various districts .

The residents of Ngabwe, Lufubu Constituency, located in Chief Munkumbwe’s Chiefdom in Zambia’s Central Province, have started reaping benefits from the construction and launch of a telecommunication tower. This development will enhance connectivity, bridge the digital divide, foster economic growth, and integrate sustainable infrastructure to meet the demands of modern technologies.
Minister of Technology and Science, Hon. Felix Chipota Mutati MP, officiated at the launch and highlighted the importance of the new communication tower in improving healthcare services, particularly in theatre operations and collaboration among doctors.
Lusaka Telecom Solutions Quality Manager Mr. Gilbert Chintu, emphasized that the towers provide an opportunity to change lives. He noted the use of youth subcontractors, helping reduce unemployment and engage university graduates.
He further confirmed that 51 towers are being constructed in collaboration with ZICTA with three already being launched in Mpongwe Copperbelt Province, Kabwe Central province and Lavushimanda District in Muchinga Province. The coverage will directly benefit 5,500 people across 999 households. Towers will enhance healthcare, education, financial inclusion, farming, and business growth.
The project is part of a nationwide effort (over 160 towers) to bridge the digital divide and empower rural communities.
