Responsbilities

Tender Preparation:

  • Research, identify, and evaluate potential tender opportunities aligned with the company’s strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information for tender submissions.
  • Prepare and compile comprehensive tender documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all requirements.

Bid Strategy:

  • Develop effective bid strategies to enhance the competitiveness of tender submissions.
  • Analyze and interpret tender documents, identifying key requirements and parameters.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to create compelling and tailored proposals.

Communication and Coordination:

  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to obtain information and clarify tender requirements.
  • Coordinate and lead tender review meetings to ensure alignment and accuracy of submissions.
  • Maintain effective communication channels to update stakeholders on tender progress and outcomes.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure that all tender submissions comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments related to tender submissions and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to tendering.

Contract Negotiation:

  • Collaborate with legal and contract management teams to negotiate terms and conditions in awarded contracts.
  • Facilitate contract handover to relevant departments and ensure a smooth transition from tender to project implementation.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or any other related field with at least two years’ experience.
  • Proven experience as a Tendering Officer or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of tendering processes and procurement regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
