Pre-Sales Power Engineer

As a Pre-Sales Power Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in understanding our clients’ needs, designing tailored power solutions, and presenting these solutions to potential customers. You will be responsible for translating technical specifications into compelling value propositions, collaborating with our sales team, and building strong relationships with clients. This role requires a deep understanding of power systems, renewable energy, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.

Responsbilities

Technical Consultation: Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to understand client requirements and provide technical expertise during the pre-sales process.

Solution Design: Develop and propose innovative power solutions that align with customer needs, utilizing your knowledge of power systems, renewable energy, and emerging technologies.

Proposal Development: Create detailed and persuasive technical proposals, including system diagrams, specifications, and cost estimates, to effectively communicate the value of our solutions.

Customer Engagement: Act as a technical liaison between the company and clients, building trust and fostering long-term relationships. Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the benefits of our solutions.

Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to provide strategic insights and maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
Proven experience of at least two (2) years in a pre-sales or technical consulting role within the power or energy industry.
Strong understanding of power systems, renewable energy technologies, and energy storage solutions.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
